Merry Christmas

Image
Hi Guys! I never thought I did this blog, a few years ago, I would never ever think about doing a blog. I thought it was just Instagram (@brianlee005), Facebook and Pinterest and that's it! I never thought that I would continue to do more posts that will help life. I named this 'My Life In Pieces' because I want people to understand that Life isn't one huge thing. It's composed into little pieces and the reason why I'm saying this is because we face daily challenges in our lives, whether it would be work, family, friends, relationships, etc. I want to bring awareness to that we all have complications about how life works, that I'm starting to wonder what life really is. This is my answer, and how I am going to find my answers, I got to the internet, the human connection that we put all our information inside. I want to first off by saying, Thank you. Thank you for reading my blog since October and being behind me ever since. Now, I have the interest of cre...

5 Foods that make your Stomach Feel Well

Image
As You may already know, stomach is used to digest foods, but what happens if you have cramps or problems? With the Holidays around the corner, here are some ways on how to cure those cramps! (since I experience some cramps sometimes, anyways) 1. Ginger Ginger is good for Nausea, it has Gingerol which is a special herb which has anti-inflammatory specials. Also, it curbs a hangover, if   you feel drunk, or knows somebody who's drunk. Tell them to take some ginger.  2. Yogurt  It has bacteria which helps with digestion. Get regular and if possible, get probiotics. Probiotics help you digest food properly. It also has calcium and magnesium.  3. Chamomile Chamomile is a flower which contains chrysin which is very good for anti-inflammatory properties. This flower can be found in hot places like Egypt, Algeria and the Middle East. Chamomile is amazing when it comes to treating stomach ache, helping soothe and relax the muscles that cause the pain....

Making Remarks on a Streetcar, Quiet Down or Shut It!

So, I was on the 506 Streetcar heading home, This man, I do not describe the way he looks, protecting his identity. He talks about remarks about a 16-year-old... to me, I didn't know what happened until, this lady (she was a stranger) holding a bottle of wine sat beside me, told the man to quiet down on his phone because he was talking rudely about a 16-year-old, which basically everyone in the streetcar can hear you. They started having an argue. I agree with this lady because everyone can hear you and you talk backlash over a 16-year-old. That to me, it's very rude to speak to this caller about a 16-year-old doing this. What happens to that 16-year-old? Now, we live in the world of curiosity where we all like to know things like the '5 W's and the How'. This man has no respect with the 16-year-old, the people who were on the streetcar and the lady itself. Look at this damage, it's too much to bear. I believe, he was a social worker who was not allowed to t...

My favorite songs at the moment

Image
BTS- (I know, I actually like this) It's a really catchy song, it's a very good rhythm and the best part of it all: It actually looks like a Justin Bieber dance scene. I also love their clothing, it looks very classy. Gordon Downie- He is actually one of my favorites and to sing a song like this, it almost makes me croon. It's a really low music video because it talks about this boy Chanie Wenjack who left his Residential School in Kenora, Ontario. Residential schools originated a long time ago in Canada and it was to assimilate First Nations to become Europeans by learning their culture and if they don't, they are harassed. He has been through a lot this year with The Tragically Hip's last concert (my favorite band), his cancer discovery and now the Secret Path series. Wow. I love this man, he is very inspiring to all Canadians. You could help him by donating to his funds: To fund Sunnybrook specifically the brain cancer research: https://donate.sunnybrook....

Barring the Pain of Loneliness for Christmas: Dialogue Series

For Christmas,  I am not alone, but there are a lot of reasons why there are people who want to become lonely for Christmas, and I'm not judging you, but I feel that Christmas is a holiday no introverts want to spend because It's too much friend gatherings, family reunions and things like that. I know how they feel because I almost felt like this as well, If I was invited to a party, would you think I go crazy and nuts? Not with alcohol around for me. I don't really like parties. The first thing I do is find a room, go to sleep and when everyone's asleep, then I go and ride my bike in peace. That's my 'lot of people at a party' lifestyle but I only go to small gatherings. When I party, I either do it alone or don't do it at all. The reason why if you see me at a party I go nuts, but afterwards when parties change, I'm not interested at all. Back to the topic, what happens is that when parties change (specifically Christmastime) I turn from an Extro...

What is a Ayurveda and How can I find out my Dosha?

Image
I'll just tell you what my dosha is, it's Pitta. Dosha is a term used in India to tell who you are: It can be our physical, well-being and mental stresses. It's commonly used as a practice from the India's Vedic culture and talks about really balancing the minds of spirit, body and what your brain process. There are 3 types of dosha's, Pitta, Vata, and Kapha. I'll tell you what they mean: Pitta: Elements of Fire and Water Vata: Reflecting the elements of Space and Air Kapha: Water and Earth For More information about dosha's: http://www.eattasteheal.com/ayurveda101/eth_bodytypes.htm Anywho, if anyone wants me to see my final reaction that I'm a Pitta, my response would be: "That's really nice, I never knew that I have that element of fire and water. I'm a nice, generous person and never in my life that I would've guessed Pitta, I was quite shocked." There is this tea brand called, Tetley, who has really good tea,...

Conflicting Happiness/Learning to Dump an Old-Friend/Thank You Friends!

This is the time that I felt like two walls were pushing together. The time I was feeling stressed out about life it almost made me cry. I know if I cry, I will let the rivers flow which breaks down those borders later. Right now, I'm feeling great! If I want to keep having positivity come into my life, I need to cry and try. Trying my best to be on this level of being happy like a balance of happiness and I feel like I can't control it. I can't be happy to my ex-friend because this place, the time made me confused and angry. Stealing away from what I want to discover in life, it's something I don't like but I hung out for a year. I stopped, looked around and came to the conclusion that this friend was not right for me. I moved on, I made a society of friends to discover and be grateful for. Thank you for making me be me again. You made me very happy and I don't have to push these borders again, so-called 'conflicting happiness'. Those precious treasures...

Forgive and Forget

Image
That's what I do, learn to forgive and forget. We all make mistakes and that's all the case we need to be human.  Saying sorry in positive ways, taking the time for that ex-friend to become friends again and hoping we don't have to do it again.  It's like saying, "Let the past go and look into the future."  So if someone overreacts, tell them that they need to learn to forgive and forget. Hearts break miraculously, wheels break all the time, if it happens, it has got to stop, it means you are not brave enough to face the world, you have to learn that everything doesn't happen like that. It sometimes breaks and even people break, too and that's okay, they fix themselves, and you should too.  Thanks and check this out! http://www.xclusivetouch.co.uk/can-forgive-forget/

Poem About People Watching

I would like to share something really special with me and it was a joy people watching, sometimes, it's a hobby, looking at people, from kids to grandparents going shopping. I did this poem a while back when I was at the mall. Here goes: The only time I go shopping; Where all the people go hoping; To get something for Loved Ones; To look, onward, strangers buying tons; Of clothes to wear, not despair, Feeling their own fashion flair;  and only having to shop for they're. This poem means: People watching. The more you sit there and look at people's faces as they shop, the you learn more. Try it out. This technique is great for passing time. If you are bored that is.

Remembrance Day - Why I Wear A Poppy

Image
Remembrance Day, It is a day where we celebrate Veterans who served Canada for their freedom.  I know it's hard celebrating it because you might have a loved one who's part of a family has been taken from the war.  or That person who is still alive today and fighting for our freedom as a country  and I want to say... Thank you.  Thank you for fighting many years to get our freedom. Thank you for serving our country of Canada. Thank you for protecting Canada.  and I know it's a lot to ask for, but really, it's not. I wear a poppy every Remembrance day because, I want to thank and remember those who served Canada.  I do not like wars to be honest and I would like them to be stopped and called for more ceasefires. I believe that we can produce more peace, agreements, love, and togetherness. Wars are not the answer to solve our world's problems.  I know I'm just one person but if we work together, we can make the world a better place...

About the Elusive Chanteuse and my time with her in the city...

Image
She is one of my favourite artists and I like her songs, from 'Vision of Love' to 'Infinity', she sure can pack a powerhouse with that 5-octave voice. Sometimes I wonder, "Is she doing this for herself, her fans or for the money?", "Does she even know what she is doing?", "Why Toronto and Hudson's Bay?" but here's the true fact that I know from her: 1) Although she has a diva attitude, she is living her best life and we should not judge her based on that. She did had a tumultuous past before becoming huge.  2) She knows that she is big; due to her success from the 90s and 2000s and not to mention her successful Christmas hits. She has nothing to prove, and made such a monumental moments in music history.  3) She's well-liked around the world, even if you think she's not as popular as her decades prior, she is still selling out tours and racking up new fans via social media. Heck! Her new song 'Type Dangerous...

Halloween Celebrate!

Halloween! Today is Halloween, it's the day where you go out and give out Candy and wear costumes of your choice, but it's weird, every year as I pass my age, I learned that trick-or-treating wasn't fun anymore, now we have to wait for the kids to get candy and hosting Halloween parties like fun games for adults and no kids are invited. Sure, you could think about that but I like to sound off that Halloween can be for everyone. Yes. Even Adults can trick or treat, or you could make kid-friendly games at parties because first, Everyone only lives once. Secondly, you should respect people who are trying to enjoy the rituals of what Halloween is. It's like saying: "You can't eat Candy Canes because you are not a little kid anymore." or "You can't be invited to this Easter party because you're an adult." There shouldn't be any boundaries whatsoever on how we should celebrate it separately, It's how we have that idea of what Hal...

Welcome!

Image
Hi Guys, Welcome to my blog!  I wanted to share some opinions about life and my experiences about it. I have been working on trying to find out what media outlet is best for me. Should I start vlogging on YouTube, explaining what my life looks life on the outside, become an influencer for Instagram (maybe take part in parties) or maybe be a part of something new.  I decided to create a blog. This is very unconventional actually. I don't have really have a theme of what this blog is. This isn't just my travels, life in general, or even sharing something quite interesting. It's all wrapped up into one blog. Maybe you'll learn something from here, maybe you'll decide to share something that speaks to you, maybe you'll realize something.  This is a blog that invites you, no matter your walk of life, your stories. These are mine. But let me invite you to it. Please keep comments respectful. If you have nothing good to say, don't say it. But if you feel the urge t...
