Remembrance Day - Why I Wear A Poppy
Remembrance Day,
It is a day where we celebrate Veterans who served Canada for their freedom.
I know it's hard celebrating it because you might have a loved one who's part of a family has been taken from the war.
or
That person who is still alive today and fighting for our freedom as a country
and I want to say...
Thank you.
Thank you for fighting many years to get our freedom.
Thank you for serving our country of Canada.
Thank you for protecting Canada.
and I know it's a lot to ask for, but really, it's not. I wear a poppy every Remembrance day because, I want to thank and remember those who served Canada.
I do not like wars to be honest and I would like them to be stopped and called for more ceasefires. I believe that we can produce more peace, agreements, love, and togetherness. Wars are not the answer to solve our world's problems.
I know I'm just one person but if we work together, we can make the world a better place.
So give while you can, to a local mall or anywhere and get a poppy.
They really appreciate it and would be thankful for your donation behalf of all Canadians who served our country.
By the way, check out this festival in Good Hope, Georgia, USA. http://www.goodhopepoppyfestival.com/
Sincerely,
Brian Lee
P.S. Please attend your local Remembrance day ceremonies, pay tribute to those who lost their lives in a tragedy of those defeating and defeated. You can also learn how to create more love in this world, because that's what we need now. Also, get a poppy, it resembles our Veterans and the touching poem of Flanders fields.
