Merry Christmas

Image
Hi Guys! I never thought I did this blog, a few years ago, I would never ever think about doing a blog. I thought it was just Instagram (@brianlee005), Facebook and Pinterest and that's it! I never thought that I would continue to do more posts that will help life. I named this 'My Life In Pieces' because I want people to understand that Life isn't one huge thing. It's composed into little pieces and the reason why I'm saying this is because we face daily challenges in our lives, whether it would be work, family, friends, relationships, etc. I want to bring awareness to that we all have complications about how life works, that I'm starting to wonder what life really is. This is my answer, and how I am going to find my answers, I got to the internet, the human connection that we put all our information inside. I want to first off by saying, Thank you. Thank you for reading my blog since October and being behind me ever since. Now, I have the interest of cre...

5 Foods that make your Stomach Feel Well

Image
As You may already know, stomach is used to digest foods, but what happens if you have cramps or problems? With the Holidays around the corner, here are some ways on how to cure those cramps! (since I experience some cramps sometimes, anyways) 1. Ginger Ginger is good for Nausea, it has Gingerol which is a special herb which has anti-inflammatory specials. Also, it curbs a hangover, if   you feel drunk, or knows somebody who's drunk. Tell them to take some ginger.  2. Yogurt  It has bacteria which helps with digestion. Get regular and if possible, get probiotics. Probiotics help you digest food properly. It also has calcium and magnesium.  3. Chamomile Chamomile is a flower which contains chrysin which is very good for anti-inflammatory properties. This flower can be found in hot places like Egypt, Algeria and the Middle East. Chamomile is amazing when it comes to treating stomach ache, helping soothe and relax the muscles that cause the pain....

Making Remarks on a Streetcar, Quiet Down or Shut It!

So, I was on the 506 Streetcar heading home, This man, I do not describe the way he looks, protecting his identity. He talks about remarks about a 16-year-old... to me, I didn't know what happened until, this lady (she was a stranger) holding a bottle of wine sat beside me, told the man to quiet down on his phone because he was talking rudely about a 16-year-old, which basically everyone in the streetcar can hear you. They started having an argue. I agree with this lady because everyone can hear you and you talk backlash over a 16-year-old. That to me, it's very rude to speak to this caller about a 16-year-old doing this. What happens to that 16-year-old? Now, we live in the world of curiosity where we all like to know things like the '5 W's and the How'. This man has no respect with the 16-year-old, the people who were on the streetcar and the lady itself. Look at this damage, it's too much to bear. I believe, he was a social worker who was not allowed to t...

My favorite songs at the moment

Image
BTS- (I know, I actually like this) It's a really catchy song, it's a very good rhythm and the best part of it all: It actually looks like a Justin Bieber dance scene. I also love their clothing, it looks very classy. Gordon Downie- He is actually one of my favorites and to sing a song like this, it almost makes me croon. It's a really low music video because it talks about this boy Chanie Wenjack who left his Residential School in Kenora, Ontario. Residential schools originated a long time ago in Canada and it was to assimilate First Nations to become Europeans by learning their culture and if they don't, they are harassed. He has been through a lot this year with The Tragically Hip's last concert (my favorite band), his cancer discovery and now the Secret Path series. Wow. I love this man, he is very inspiring to all Canadians. You could help him by donating to his funds: To fund Sunnybrook specifically the brain cancer research: https://donate.sunnybrook....

Barring the Pain of Loneliness for Christmas: Dialogue Series

For Christmas,  I am not alone, but there are a lot of reasons why there are people who want to become lonely for Christmas, and I'm not judging you, but I feel that Christmas is a holiday no introverts want to spend because It's too much friend gatherings, family reunions and things like that. I know how they feel because I almost felt like this as well, If I was invited to a party, would you think I go crazy and nuts? Not with alcohol around for me. I don't really like parties. The first thing I do is find a room, go to sleep and when everyone's asleep, then I go and ride my bike in peace. That's my 'lot of people at a party' lifestyle but I only go to small gatherings. When I party, I either do it alone or don't do it at all. The reason why if you see me at a party I go nuts, but afterwards when parties change, I'm not interested at all. Back to the topic, what happens is that when parties change (specifically Christmastime) I turn from an Extro...

What is a Ayurveda and How can I find out my Dosha?

Image
I'll just tell you what my dosha is, it's Pitta. Dosha is a term used in India to tell who you are: It can be our physical, well-being and mental stresses. It's commonly used as a practice from the India's Vedic culture and talks about really balancing the minds of spirit, body and what your brain process. There are 3 types of dosha's, Pitta, Vata, and Kapha. I'll tell you what they mean: Pitta: Elements of Fire and Water Vata: Reflecting the elements of Space and Air Kapha: Water and Earth For More information about dosha's: http://www.eattasteheal.com/ayurveda101/eth_bodytypes.htm Anywho, if anyone wants me to see my final reaction that I'm a Pitta, my response would be: "That's really nice, I never knew that I have that element of fire and water. I'm a nice, generous person and never in my life that I would've guessed Pitta, I was quite shocked." There is this tea brand called, Tetley, who has really good tea,...
