About Hoppers
This movie that I want to watch this weekend is the same show that made 'We Bare Bears'.
Yes, that's right. The famous 'Cartoon Network' series, 'We Bare Bears' is part of the upcoming movie that critics are raving about.
The movie is called, 'Hoppers'. And in this movie, Daniel Chong (the same creator of 'We Bare Bears') created the storyline and directed the movie. He wanted to: 'Create a sense of adventure while keeping the characters cute.'
Here is the trailer - trust me, it's really good.
Produced by, Nicole Paradis Grindle, (who also did, 'Incredibles 2') wanted the movie to be about curiosity, and "putting your mind into an animal [Similar] to Avatar". (her during the release of the announcement for the movie during Destination D23 - last year)
Entire plot of the story goes like this. (and yes, there is no spoilers as I want you to go and see it yourself). The story starts with Mabel, who is a 19 year-old student who loves technology and studying animals. Her teacher, also a renowned scientist discovered a way to "hop" from the human's conscious to an robot beaver body.
From there, Mabel transforms into a beaver. She then communicates to other animals about the human destruction. During this ordeal, the "animal kingdom" wants to 'squish' all humans from their actions regarding climate change.
The characters include, King George, a beaver who is the Kingdom's King (wears a crown) guides Mabel to his habitat. He also teaches 'pond rules', like eating, coming together as a whole - not leaving everyone behind, and the opening up to your 'neighbours'.
They are joined by Tom the Lizard. (You probably seen him on adverts where he kept pressing the emoji, 🦎) He plays an loyal and shares his mind to his animal friends. He helps Mabel and King George.
Also! A Grizzly bear named Ellen and another closed-eyed beaver named, 'Loaf' set off an adventure.
