Honest Eds

Hey Guys!

If you don't know what Honest Ed's are, it's a store that sells cheap stuff (but good!) from Ed Mirvish, founder. Think of stores like Wal-Mart, but for Toronto. It's been around since 1948 and last year New Years, they closed it. Now it looks like people graffiti'd it, and it looks like a dead street. Go look at Markham Street and you'll see it dead, because they were ordered to close it.

If you guys were wondering what Honest Ed's look like in the store during when it was closing, I had pictures. Refer to my first comeback blog post 2 posts below this one. OK, these are the pictures (from my cellphone) of what looks like when it was closed.

Top: Shoppers buying last minute things
Left: A movie poster called "The Whittington"
Right: A Cart with a poster

Left: A poster that hangs up on the ceiling when you go down the stairs

Right: Suspect. A place where you buy CDs.

This picture is the neighborhood of it when it looked dead. It was all closed due to a condo becoming here.

This is the mexican place where they
served mexican food.

Entrance to the Beguiling which is a store where
they used to sell women's clothing,
I think.
