26th Birthday Party

Image
I thought I change the blog post up a bit and talk to you about my 26th birthday party! The point of having and hosting a birthday party was to celebrate a monumental stage in my life. A quarter and a bit done.  I remember thinking about doing this party and it was because I wanted to. It wasn't something that was to mark some special occasion or an excuse, but to throw a party with loved ones. It took me back to the time when an relative of mine was hosting a party. It was hard to get the guests together, keep them entertained and fed and leave being happy, taking home memories.  They were stressed out, and needed lots of help during the seating arrangements, what food they should eat, and the food allergies. The entertainment; karaoke, lion dancing, pin the tail, etc. Setting up was hard. When it came down to the invited guests, I try to keep it between 20 - 30 people max, because I'm afraid if they might shut it down, or others might get claustrophobic from the amount of pe...

Image
I've been digging up some history behind Flash Mobs. Remember those? Remember back in those days when you are just going about your day, and you see a collective amount of people dressed up and coming together to do a dance numbers. Mostly for going to the Prom proposals, or just because.  As far as I know, flash mobs have been there for decades, but more recently, and for a long long time, flash mobs have not been prevalent on TikTok or Instagram. I'm guessing more people do not have time to collaborative together to do chorography and dance outside while others look on.  The last dance flash mob that I've seen was a couple of years ago, mind you this was on Youtube, and I have not seen one in person lately. And it was this viral video located in a shopping centre, and four women dressed like they are flight attendants and more airport staff came to dance as well. Onlookers look at how wonderful they danced. As the video goes on, there was room for breakdancing and some gu...
