My New Favorite Songs at the moment:
My best-loved songs in the new year are:
George Michael- Faith
Since he died on Christmas day, I've been starting to listen to his music. He is a muse to objectifying what 'music' should be, he has songs that truly want to get on your feet, but also had a taste of what maturity is. He changed music differently not from his brilliance, but his ability to have a conscious mind on what his music is.
Amanda Marshall- Let It Rain
I love Amanda, she has a phenomenal voice. She can hit those high notes, and the lyrics are somewhat something that could be place into a plaque. The guitar solo though. Anyway, Amanda Marshall, come back on Canada's b-day, we need you!
Neon Trees-Everybody Talks
This song is everything! It has a wildly strange but very interesting music video, which samples what It looks like to have a split mind between the good and bad. The music is very catchy and the lyrics is really innovative. It's true, everybody talks!
Foster The People- Pumped Up Kicks
Can I just mention this music video look likes my trip to Vietnam. It's an amazing place, by the way. Okay, this song is very very incredible. It has that punch in the chorus line, the music video is homemade (which is all you need in a music video) and it's very dedicated to many as a rock n roll sensation!
